Back to Adoptable Pets

She started out standoffish and moody, but now she's a total lap cat. While she does not like to be picked up, she will tolerate it for short periods of time. Once she trusts you, she will come up to you for pets and will come sit on your lap for kneading, pets, and sleeping. She likes gentle pets, especially around the head, neck, and shoulders. She can get a little grumpy if you pet her rump too much or too hard. If she is over-stimulated, she may hiss and slap (without her claws out), but she will let you know beforehand that she's done by putting her ears back. She should probably be in a one cat household. She does not pursue or instigate fights unless another cat gets in her physical space.
